One whole day at home we've spent
So it is time this letter gets sent
Terry's weak but starting to mend
So your ears I decided to bend

He's downed his Ensure around the clock
He's eaten small portions but not on the dock
We've stayed in all day, to rest and recup
We're hoping that soon he might even poop

The tooting's been good, quite healthy for sure
But for tooting out tunes we've not found a cure
The visiting nurse that was here today said
Your healing nicely but spend time in bed

Terry's so stubborn without cane he is walking
While his poor wife looks on at him she is gaulking
He uses the walls and furniture too
for balance it seems that anything will do

We both took a nap today about four
It was wonderful not to rush out the door
I went through 39 days of unopened mail
I'm sure if you saw me I truly looked pale

The grandkids, and Tami, and Justin Rushed in
To be of assistance we sure had to grin
For our lower level they brought us a rocker
And helped us around here we sure appreciate it kids.. thanks so much

Love you all like sweet red seedless grapes
