Dean's Reflections; Part One

Yes Frank, Vy did that. I recall him & I sitting on stumps in the woods behind our house & listening to the sound of the woods come back to life. He said we disturbed all the animals in their habitat when we walked through the leaves so we waited for them to come out of hiding. A chipmonk came from under an old log, a red squirel crept back to our side of a tree to get a better look. Birds flitted from limb to limb looking for ants and a deer mouse hopped along a log. We also heard leaves rustle that we couldn't locate.
