The stars are the mistress’s loyal army

They shine and twinkle in harmony

Marching across the sky in ordered haste

A billion years never varying their pace

Holding their form in celestial constellations

Greeting us each night with lighted salutations

Faithful companions to the Sun and the Moon

Without their brilliance our universe would be out of tune
