"Hooking a Blanket."
The making of Miss Molly Homemaker,
a new series inspired by the writtings of Outlaw Peasant girl...
Miss Molly Homemaker, frustrated by the lack of skins at the local Five and Dime settles for a hook and skien of thread, doubtful that she'ld ever be able to twine and sew like the women of her heritage. But the blankets must be made as winter approaches and the howl of freezing winds blow through her taggered windows. The oil heat radiators are forbidden in her home and she must settle to wrap herself in any available cloth. With just pennies in her pocket Miss Molly Homemaker savanges together what she can to purchase the life saving thread and begs her nieghbor to teach her to twine and sew. Twist and in one loop, now out and twist and through two more and again... The weave begins to show a pattern as her hands ache and throb the tiny knots leave little room for the hook and Miss Molly Homemaker wishes she had settled to allow a few small holes to peep through the cloth. But Miss Molly Homemaker is stubborn and hours stretch into days and still she weaves concentrated on her task. She measures the thread to be sure it will adequatley cover her bed but even after a week of busy work the material resembles more of a long scarf then any type of blanket.
Miss Molly Homemaker does not stop however, she just works on only to put the project down to sleep and rest her hands, or to run off to make enough money to feed herself and pay the bills. She does however take time to go to the great halls of knowledge and learning where the scholars gather in order to prepare for her future schooling. Miss Molly Homemaker is much pleased to learn that no more will need to be spent on the papers of education as these courses will be taught on the great comglamoration of knowledge that is the Internet. Miss Molly Homemaker is proud that she has made this step in her life and then remembers another project , the blanket. Running home again Miss Molly Homemaker takes up the thread and once again begins to twine and sew.
Just as she begins the magic talking box rings it's bell and the gentle metal man carpenter Marine at heart who captured her love asks, "Is Cyndi there?"
"Hello." she says and puts down her task. The gentle metal man carpenter Marine at heart who captured her love has invited her to dinner and he promises to buy her flowers soon. So Miss Molly Homemaker sets down the box and runs to powder her nose her gentle metal man carpenter Marine at heart who captured her love will be at her doorway soon.
Love to all,
Miss Molly Homemaker
