Donna's Memories of the days following His Funeral
The flowers are dropping their petals,
The hugs diminished and the hot-dishes all gone.
The world say's continue on ... all has changed,
Nothing has changed.
Meals need to be made, dishes need to be done.
Minds full, minds empty.
Memories of loving happiness together,
Quieter times...heavy hearts hurting.
Faithful friends so amazing, won't let you down.
Cards coming in, cards going out.
Prayers given, deeds forgiven.
Additional Thoughts That did not make the final cut...
Memories...
tender times together...
heavy hearts hurting.
Amazing...
faithful friends forever...
eager energy exerting.
Flowers...
drying drooping dropping...
fragrance frills fading.
Prayers...
silent spoken sending...
tender tales trading.
Daily...
tasks tedious testing...
dinner dishes done.
Mind...
wonders worries worn...
silent surrendered spun.
Lonely...
hardy hugs helpful...
nurturing needed nightly.
Neighbors...
visit varied volume...
loving laughing lightly
Hot...
boil baked brown...
dishes dwindling down
Thankyous...
calls cards cares....
talking taking town.
